After three years, seven issues, countless posts, and a whole lot of incredible experiences, Marker is coming to an end.

What some people don’t know is that I ran Marker out of my tiny bedroom; a big endeavour created with very little resources. Looking back, I’m not quite sure how I was able to pull this off while maintaining a day job, but with this chapter ending I already feel a lot less tired…

This whole thing is still quite bittersweet, though.

I can’t begin to thank everyone who has contributed to Marker’s growth – writers, photographers, illustrators, advertisers, interns, volunteers, customers, and all around awesome supporters, – there’s no way this idea in my head could’ve become what it did without you. And to the people in my life who are closest to me, thank you for being so patient while I tried to make all this happen.

It’s not easy trying to carve out your space, but regardless of what happens – whatever successes or setbacks come your way – you won’t regret making the effort.
